Project reality
Why the project matters
- What it does
- Hivello ran a desktop app that linked spare computer power to DePIN networks. Node runners shared bandwidth, compute power or storage. In return, they could receive network earnings and Hivello rewards.
That product changed course in 2026. Hivello said the node app would switch off on January 30, 2026. The old dashboard would then close after users had time to withdraw. Hivello is moving toward shared Bitcoin mining and later GPU and AI compute products. Those plans are not a new airdrop.
- Who uses or pays
- Who uses and pays for the product still needs verification.
- What is live
- The current live product state is not yet recorded separately from campaign research.
- Where value flows
- Hivello has public investors and partners, but funding is not relevant to a finished token distribution and does not indicate a new airdrop.
- Who controls it
- Upgrade, custody, and governance control still need verification.
- Why users return
- Demand without incentives still needs verification.

- Historical users should retain access to the email and wallet used with the old dashboard
Reward rules
How rewards work
Airdrop #2 had a fixed 50 million HVLO pool, but each user's outcome depended on more than daily points. Hivello applied multipliers for real resource contribution, uptime and community participation. Uptime without contributed resources earned zero HVLO. Its completion report says 50 million HVLO went to 6,684 wallets, while 3,600 wallets with node activity but no on-chain earnings were excluded.
Airdrop #3 later distributed 70,990,037 HVLO to 3,169 devices with at least 20,000 points. Neither historical result creates an open claim or a new earning task. Hivello has not announced another airdrop in the sources checked.

Cost and risk
The old campaigns did not require a token deposit. Running a node was still not free. Users supplied the device, power and internet link. They paid those costs. The node could also share bandwidth, storage or compute power.
Hivello's terms say traffic could pass through a user's node. They also say Hivello could not promise that all traffic would be lawful. Its privacy policy lists account details, device IDs, IP addresses, usage logs and wallet or payment data. It may also ask for ID documents.
Airdrop #2 passed Solana fees to node runners. Hivello said new wallets had 1,000 HVLO deducted for network costs. The app and campaigns are now closed, so taking these risks cannot improve an old reward.

How to improve eligibility
- Treat the August 21 snapshot as August 21, 2025, not 2026.
- Do not install retired node software for an expired distribution.
- Use hivello.com for any historical-fund recovery path.
- Verify @HivelloOfficial announcements against the official website before connecting or paying.
- Do not assume a new mining or compute product includes an airdrop.
Editorial judgment
Airdroplet verdict
Historical distribution only; do not farm the expired August 2025 snapshot
Best for: Past Hivello node runners who need to understand the old distributions or recover dashboard funds
Skip if: You are a newcomer looking for a live airdrop or would install node software only for old points
- Hivello published clear results for two completed HVLO distributions.
- No active airdrop, snapshot, points period or claim page is announced.
- The old DePIN node app and dashboard were retired during Hivello's 2026 pivot.
- Historical node participation carried meaningful device, bandwidth, privacy and legal risks.
- The official site has conflicting old date language, so the completion reports control the current status.
Re-ranked August 12, 2026 as a completed campaign, not a live task. Hivello ran two documented HVLO drops. The old node app was later retired, and no new airdrop was found. The low score reflects what a reader can do now. It does not dispute that past users were paid. Date correction: the Airdrop #2 details page omits the year. Hivello's mid-year 2025 report places the drop at the end of August 2025. Its completion report confirms that the tokens were sent before Airdrop #3.
