The HYPE genesis distribution is historical. Hyperliquid's first points program ran from November 1, 2023 through May 1, 2024, followed by an L1 points phase from May 29, 2024 through November 2024. HYPE is now a live network asset used for staking, fees, and ecosystem functions.

Searches about “Hyperliquid HLP depositor eligibility” should be answered carefully: official points documentation describes program dates and weekly distributions, but it does not publish a simple rule saying every HLP depositor qualified. There is no current genesis-airdrop claim process to farm. Users should ignore sites that present themselves as a new HYPE genesis checker.
